Adorable Ghanaian singer SSUE, Born Susan Serwah Amoakohene, on Wednesday 6th May 2020 donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to be shared among the aged musicians.
The singer donated : Hand Sanitizer, Nose Mask, Boxes of Sardine, boxes of Key Soap, bags of rice, cooking oil, hand washing soap and many others.
When asked why she chose the aged musicians, She said it was important to acknowledge the aged musicians for their contribution to the development of the music industry in the country.
She added that she will be doing this annually to support the living condition of the aged musicians.
According to her the donation was her way of supporting and helping bring comfort and hope to the aged musicians.
She also advised colleagues who have been blessed with wealth to extend a helping hand to the aged musicians.
Bessa Simons who is acting as the president of MUSIGA, commended SSUE for her kind gesture and urged other kind-hearted persons and organisations to come to their aid.
Bessa Simons revealed that MUSIGA will soon roll out its fund raising activities for the general public to contribute to the fund to improve the well-being of the aged musicians.
The silky voiced Songstress SSUE, will soon release a remix version of “Bo me Nkomode” featuring the golden voice of Africa, Pat Thomas.
