Media practitioner and social media influencer, Ronnie Ato Paintsil, otherwise known in the media space as Afrikaba Ronnie has been honoured as the Young Philanthropist of the year in the 2022 edition of Humanitarian Awards Global.
The young filmmaker who has over the years used social media to churn out mostly positive things about the country and influenced many positive things in the country, especially in the creative arts industry was honoured because his brand over the years has impacted positively the lives of the people near and far.
The Humanitarian Awards Global stands to celebrate and recognize NGOs, volunteers, donors, organizations, philanthropists, corporate and other professionals in advancing the important work of humanity and making a difference in the lives of the people in their localities and across the globe.
Announcing the good news and acknowledging his social media audience for the undiluted support, Ronnie said, amongst other things that, the honour will go a long way to motivate others in working tirelessly for their communities. He added that he’s particularly careful about what he says publicly or writes on social media and that he considers the impact of every move he makes, especially in public.
He urged the youth to always advance their points without any form of malice or hard insults but encouraged them to do their best for their immediate communities.
Afrikaba also added that one should not wait till having excess before sharing for the needy but rather make sharing a habit, if nothing at all sharing your ideas can help develop society.
