Ghanaian gospel songwriter, Prophet Joseph Atarah has been named as part of the nominees of this year’s Lawson Herbal Ghana Music Awards Europe.
The beautiful video of Prophet Atarah’s song, Woye Odo, which features the Waye Me Yie hit maker, Piesie Esther and was directed by Skyweb got him into the Best Video of the Year in this prestigious award scheme.
This year marks the second edition of the scheme’s operation and is being headlined by Lawson Herbal. The awards scheme intends on celebrating the talents and works of outstanding Ghanaian acts in the country as well as the diaspora.
The multi-talented gospel singer, who heads the Believers Grace Ministry International at Adenta-Barrier was part two categories of this year’s scheme. These include the Best Video of the Year and New Artiste of the Year categories.
Prophet Joseph Atarah is likely to throw more of his attention on the New Artiste of the year category. He will be competing with Lasmid, DJ Azonto, Malcolm Nuna, Mama Boat, Vanilla, D Jay, Chief One, Kwame Nut, Jayana and Frank Naro.
Getting Piesie Esther on a project, which brought two nominations to a young music brand such as Prophet Joseph Atarah is a big deal and is worth celebrating. The anointed man of God will surely take these nominations and the possibility of winning as stepping stones for the beautiful songs to be released from his camp.
The singer is out with a masterpiece, Adom Nyame, which is a great follow-up for Woye Odo. The song is doing well on most of the digital platforms.
