Honourable Salifu Sa-eed in a press release has revealed that Northern region in Ghana has placed a ban on prostitution over Coronavirus.
According to the chairman of regional security council Hon Salifu Sa-eed, the northern sector has recorded at least 10 cases and the ban on prostitution is to take immediate effect and also to stop the rapid spread of the Coronavirus and to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
However due to the press release from the Chairman of the Regional Security Council, the top most question that has been asked is, how a criminal and illegal act is being banned or have the authorities accepted this act aganist the criminal code 1960 (Act 29) in Section 276 as amended by section 14 of the Act 554?.
