Budding urban gospel group, Street Xervice, has come lashing out hard at their colleagues in the genre, stating that most Ghanaian urban gospel songs lack anointing.
In an interview with Londona on Kingdom+ FM, the group in an attempt to glorify their own music which is presumably more “spirit-filled” than the rest, made the bold assertion that most urban gospel songs especially gospel rap is bereft of the anointing required to wake a sleeping Christian from their slumber.
According to the Wofata hitmakers, unlike their colleagues, their music embodies the true nature of Christ like a real gospel song should. Another factor they allude their exceptionality to is the fact that they do not do their service in church like regular Christians but take it out to the streets, hence the name Street Xervice.
