Ghanaian high life musician, Kuami Eugene has been crowned artiste of the year at the 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) at the Grand Arena near the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The ‘Confusion’ hitmaker won over Diana Hamilton, Medikal, Sarkodie and Kofi Kinaata.
An elated Kuami Eugene in a brief remark thanked his management and CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, the people of Fadama and Ghanaians for the massive support and impact to his musical career.
Aside winning the biggest award on the night, Kuami Eugene was also won the high life artist of the year.
This year’s event commenced on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August, 2020 under strict Covid-19 protocols.
