A military officer who doubles as a gospel artist based in the Western Region, Kwabena Donkor has revealed the reason he featured a secular artist in his new trending song ‘Yahweh’.
According to the ‘Yahweh’ hit maker, he was given a direction by God to feature BlaQ Mic a hip life artist also based in Takoradi.
The song has received mixed feelings from gospel music lovers, as some claim the featuring of a secular Artist by Kwabena Donkor who is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, others feel the song is in the right order.
Kwabena Donkor explained that, his main purpose is to win more of the youth for Christ through this single and for that matter his reason for choosing the instrumentation which is quite different from the SDA style and the subsequent featuring of BlaQ Mic.
The artist has since urged all those criticising the move to take a second look at the song and his inspiration behind it, since it’s timely and in the right on point.
