Smart Focus Media, organisers of the Global Music Awards Africa (GMAA) has announced the opening of nominations for the maiden edition of the awards.
Global Music Awards Africa is an event that seeks to award emerging and known artistes in Africa.
This year is the special and maiden edition for the GMAA as it marks the beginning of a new era in Africa, dedicated to celebrating hard working players in the music industry in Africa.
The Chief executive officer Mr, Daniel Adofo outlined some African countries like Senegal, South Africa, Dr Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana among others can file for nomination and only works which were released from 1st January, 2020 to 31st December, 2020 can file for nomination.
A release by SMART FOCUS MEDIA on Friday, January 1, which announced the opening of nominations indicated that stakeholders can pick nomination forms from by sending it details to their official gmail account globalmusicafrica@gmail.com or can call +233(0) 26 826 5325 for enquiries.
Stakeholders have until January 20 to submit their entries which can be done through soft copies.
Although there have been various kinds of awards in Africa, Global Music Awards is set to be the top notch of its all in Africa.
The Awards are set to take place on March 6, 2021 in Ghana at the Accra International Conference center (AICC) as voting begins on 18th January, 2021.
